Craft Artists

The Women's Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art established ArtWorks in 1965 to promote awareness of craft artists who exhibit in the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. The gallery displays an array of fine jewelry, decorative arts, wearable art and accessories from America's premier craft artisans. It also provides exposure for outstanding students from Philadelphia's leading art institutions. Visitors can purchase original and distinctive objects and craft items in ArtWorks. Proceeds from sales benefit Museum educational and outreach programs for teachers, children, senior citizens and people with disabilities.

Choose from the work of dozens of national and regional artists.

Some of our featured artists include:

  • Ford/Forlano - jewelry
  • Edward Wohl - woodwork
  • Curtiss Brock - glass
  • Lois Rubin Aronow - ceramics
  • Judith Bird - wearable fiber

If you are interested in acquiring any of our unique craft objects, please visit our main gallery (ArtWorks) located in the Philadelphia Museum of Art or call us at 215-684-7965.
